Did you know….

I HATE asking clients for reviews!!!!!!!!  

I LOVE my job …. I pride myself on my ability to maintain relationships with clients AFTER the transactional piece is over (FUN FACT – I go through a real grieving process when the deal is “done”!!!) 

But – I find it very very difficult to ASK for a review. Details about how my clients felt throughout the transaction. Feedback on what I can do better! 

According to BigCommerce, 72% of consumers say positive reviews and testimonials make them trust a business more and 88% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations! 

Trust and Reputation are some of the most important factors when it comes to success in the real estate industry. Money CAN NOT buy a good reputation!

In the past, people would have simply asked their colleagues, friends, and family for recommendations for a trustworthy real estate agent. While real estate agents still depend on word of mouth recommendations, these days recommendations are likely to be digital. Now when people are looking to either buy or sell property, the first thing they’re most likely to do is search Google. 

Now I like to think my clients come to me for many things BEFORE they go to GOOGLE … but there are many people out there – who don’t know me yet.  

I spoke to a new buyer last week, who called about one of my listings. She was coming here from Ontario – saw one of my listings and it matched her needs. Unfortunately, that one was already pending sold – so I asked if I could help her find something else!  After our chat, I mentioned that she could go online – research me – find out more about who I am/how I work/what my clients say. She replied; “I have already done that!”  Thank goodness I have a UNIQUE name and I am easy to find on-line 😉

Studies show that people rely on EMOTIONS – not logic – to make decisions. 

That choice has to FEEL right!
