Fun fact: by the age of 2, a child goes from being completely dependant – to eating, talking, walking, climbing, jumping and running?
OK maybe our accomplishments aren’t “life changing” – but for us – they are HUGE!
Learnings:
Being a real estate agent is not for the faint of heart. It’s a tough business to break into – and one to be successful in!
You can balance work and life – it takes a lot of effort and planning – but it is possible. Just not “all the time“….. 😉
It is important to continue our focus – on what we are doing ONLY!
This business gets very “comparative” … brings me right back to living on a cul de sac with lots of kids – and your child was not “trending” as fast as others! (Not Bailey of course!!!!!!)
Never stop learning! There is always something you can do better/different/faster/easier. Sometimes OTHER people just do some things better than you do! And that’s ok! I really had to learn to “let things go” and Bailey has proved herself to excel at this job and ALL the paperwork that goes with it!
Be open to change (not my strong suit!)
REPUTATION and WORK ETHIC are the pillars of success in real estate. Being informative, transparent, quick to respond And KIND could make the difference on the agent side between getting a deal done … and losing your clients dream home!
Consistency builds trust and reliability. NOT sexy – but true!!!
Achievements
Bailey got her license and her first sale (with her own client!)
Bailey won the Deal Manager award from our brokers (means out of more than 200+ agents – she does her paperwork the BEST!) And she does mine of course 😉
Karen achieved Red Diamond award and top 2% Status across Canada – from Royal LePage Nationally (20,000+ agents)
